Lizan Guliker

Lizan is a Rotterdam-based student at the Willem de Kooning Art Academy. As she nears completion of a degree in Product Design, she works for local design and art fairs including OBJECT and BIG ART. Lizan brings a passion for storytelling to her work in digital communication and marketing, blended with a firm grasp of contemporary design practice. At M21D she develops and executes strategy across social platforms and communication vehicles including newsletters, print, and exhibition design. Her recent research focuses on the phenomenon of ambient communication, specifically how forms of it, like small talk in public space, have disappeared with the wide adoption of hardware like headphones.
