Co-creation, free city tours, workshops
Between April 14 and September 3, 2023, M21D developed a series of programs in association with the exhibition Objects from our 21st-century ancestors at Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen. More than 90,242 people visited the exhibition in person, and many more visited online.
In addition, more than 350 people created their own future perspective to see the city of Rotterdam, quotidian objects, and museum collections in a new way through these activities.

Are your objects future proof?
Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen and Museum of 21st Century Design invited guests to bring their objects and discover if they're future-proof. People were delighted to share their precious and quotidian objects with the M21D crew, who took on the role of objectologists from the future.
